Hello, i'm not an i7 2nd generation owner but i have an i5 3rd gen 3570 and I had a similar experience with latest graphic drivers in W7 64, i solved with some experiments, try this:ĭownload the needed drivers (zip version) from intel's page, then unzip in any place you want and open the "graphic" folder inside driver's folder and locate a file *.inf, open it with notepad and search the next lines: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU 2.00GHz, 2001 MHz, 4 core('s), 8 logische processor(s) Some info which may be needfull: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Thus, i looked for new drivers from Intel and found one but after installing the error comes: Computer does not meet the minimum requirments for installing the software.
Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues.
